Burlington

I joined a friend for dinner at a lovely little café in Burlington. I arrived a bit early, so I took a stroll about the area to see if there were any photo opportunities. I found this lovely little boutiquey, trendy, cutesy, shopping area. What sort of amazed me was how empty it was! It was about 6:30pm on a Friday evening and there was not a soul walking about. This should have been a hub of busy activity! It brought to mind a trip I was on in Paris and although this area does not look anything like Paris, I could not help but be reminded of that trip. But in Paris, or anywhere else in Europe for that matter, an area like this on a Friday evening would not have been so quiet!
