Snyder's Flats

Snyder's Flats on the Grand River near Kitchener, Ontario. This is a very quiet place. And lovely. Although it is late May, I was snowed on a little, while I was out there! And rained.

Field

I was on a lovely ride one afternoon when I found this field. Initially, I preferred the image of the field with only a little sky. But someone asked what it looked like with more sky. I am starting to favour that view a little more. But, I have especially grown to like the image with the tree in it...

Webster's Falls

I had Mother's Day to go for a hike. I'd hoped to take my son, but that did not work out. It was a really cool nostalgia trip for me. This was one of my mother's favourite parks. We used to picnic here frequently. It was nice to be near my mother again.

Carpet

A walk along the Grand River by Homer Watson park, I found this lovely carpet.

Blossoms

A walk in the back garden, the apple tree is about to burst.

I love these blossoms.

Aroma Therapy

I needed some Aroma Therapy today. A walk in the park proved to be just what I needed. The heavenly aromatics of the flowers melted all my stress and my anxiety away.

Mom Magnet

I have heard of guys getting really nice cute dogs because of the "chick magnet" effect. But this is too much! At one point there were something like ten moms around him with their kids all ooh-ing and aah-ing and petting the tortoise. And of course the moms are all chatting up the young hottie :) It was a lot of fun to watch.

These two guys were so much fun to watch. They giggled, and squealed, and generally acted very foolishly :)

At one point, I think there were maybe 10 moms plus kids in this group

Rain, rain, go away

Sometimes, the rain is perfect. Sometimes it suits one's mood.
